Prefab Hall is centrally located at 14 Jessie Street, Te Aro and is attached to the back of the popular Prefab Café.

Ruth Pretty Catering is the exclusive partner for Prefab Hall and we’ll work with you to make your Prefab event fantastic.

The hall is the perfect venue for your upcoming private or corporate party, meeting or wedding.

The venue can seat up to 120 guests at tables for dinner, 160 to 200 theatre style and 250 cocktail style.

For larger events, there is the option of hiring Prefab Café at an additional price (terms and conditions apply).

 
 

Weddings

Prefab Hall is a great venue for either a sit down dinner or a more relaxed reception for your upcoming nuptials. You can also choose to have your ceremony onsite in the patio/lane area or inside the hall as a wet weather option.

Previously at Prefab Hall we have catered a range of weddings to include served dinners, shared platters down the tables or supper stations for a more casual approach.

After initially speaking with Ruth regarding the details of your wedding, we will send you a preliminary proposal with some sample menus and a cost breakdown. If you are interested in moving forward, we will arrange a meeting with Ruth to discuss your expectations in more detail and we will then put together a bespoke proposal and menu for you.

corporate Events

Prefab Hall is also great for other corporate events such as product launches, strategy or planning sessions, offsite meetings and company celebrations.

We have hosted corporate groups for sit down dinners, themed parties with live entertainment, stand up suppers, car launches and even quiz nights.

When hiring both Prefab Cafe and Prefab Hall, we can cater up to 500 guests across both spaces.

With a large open space to seat at tables or theatre style, Prefab Hall is the perfect location for your next meeting or conference.

Most meetings and conferences choose to have all day catering to include tea/coffee on arrival, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea with the option of post meeting passarounds and beverages.

With state of the art technology built into the hall and equipment available onsite, we will put you in touch with your preferred AV partner who will work with you to ensure the day runs smoothly.
